Last year saw the likes of Stephen Bunting, Luke Humphries, Chris Dobey and Gerwyn Price make it through to the semi-finals. Bunting beat fellow Englishman Humphries 6-2 to progress to the final against Price, who beat Chris Dobey in the other semi-final by the same scoreline. Stephen Bunting ending up winning the night after he beat Price 6-5 in a thrilling final.
